The brand new Children’s Festival Season starts on 12th April with 3 Little Pigs

Titchfield Festival Theatre is delighted to announce the launch of its first ever theatre shows for children. The UK’s largest producing theatre is adapting a series of plays, based upon popular themes, to keep our youngsters entertained during the spring and the summer. The brand new Children’s Festival Season starts on 12th April with 3 Little Pigs, adapted by Sassy Harvey.

Sassy, TFT’s Youth and Outreach Coordinator said, “Theatre is great for kids. It is engaging – and it is a totally different experience to other activities; entertaining, too! TFT is really keen to encourage a love of theatre for younger audiences which is why we have produced the new shows.

“Many are original scripts, such as 3 Little Pigs and The Elves and the Shoemaker. Others, for example The Cat in the Hat, are familiar and much-loved stories.”

3 Little Pigs is to be streamed exclusively for Titchfield Festival Theatre on 12 & 13 April. Once restrictions are further lifted to allow the Theatre to reopen to the public, live productions will return hopefully in May. Full details of all the shows are on the TFT website.

In addition to the Children’s Theatre, TFT has its own Youth Theatre programme open to all young people aged 2 to 21. More information can be found on the TYT website here.
